Locals Card - Terms and Conditions

1. The TPT locals’ card is issued by and remains the property of Flower Hotels.

2. Application for, and/or use of your TPT card is deemed acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. For enquiries or to report lost cards call management on 02 6582 3939 or email enquiries@tackingpointtavern.com.au

3. Sign up procedure for becoming a member.

a) Sign up is open to local residents that reside in the following postcodes: 2444, 2445 and 2446.

b) Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

c) Applicant must present Identification (driver’s license / passport, photo id and utility bill) that shows the applicants residential address to qualify.

d) Once submitted, new members will be issued a digital card, ready for immediate use

e) The digital card is stored on the customers mobile in Wallets (apple) and Google Pay (android users)

f) A welcome email will be sent to new members outlining all benefits.

4. The Card can be used at TPT.

a) Discounts are available on food and beverages, and a variety of other benefits apply. See full list of current benefits in section above

b) To redeem, members must present their locals digital card at point of sale at the time of ordering.

c) Cards are non-transferable or redeemable for cash.

d) The member who signed up to receive the card is the only person entitled to use the card. You must not loan your card to another person to use. If found to be doing so, you may be suspended or excluded from the Locals Card program.

e) Discounts do not apply on the following items or services:

  1. Daily specials

  2. Gaming

  3. Gift cards / vouchers

  4. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or promotions

  5. Membership benefits and discounts do not apply on Public Holidays (gazzetted in NSW)

5. Exclusive member offers, promotions, events and invitations above the standard benefits of your local’s membership may be presented to members periodically on selected products or services.

a. These will be sent out via email and/or SMS to the details provided at time of sign up.

b. To redeem, members must present their digital card at point of sale when making order.

c. It is the members responsibility to keep contact details associated with their card up to date. No responsibility will be taken for missed offers and/or promotions. Members can update their details by using the link provided in each email sent.

d. If you unsubscribe from receiving member updates, your card will be made invalid and membership benefits will no longer apply

6. Flower Hotels and TPT reserve the right to terminate or suspend cards, for reasons including, but not limited to, a breach of the Terms and Conditions as provided in this document and further detailed below

a. engagement in or suspicion of fraudulent conduct or improper use of the card

b. If terminated the cardholder will no longer eligible for any vouchers or rewards

c. If we discover that an individual has more than one membership, any and all of these memberships may be cancelled.

d. Any member or customer who deliberately misuse their card or another member’s card will have it voided by management.

e. Staff found to be deliberately misusing Locals Cards will be subject to disciplinary action.

7. Tacking Point Tavern reserves the right to cancel the program in whole or in part or suspend it for any period for any reason after giving 7 days’ notice on the website tackingpointtavern.com.au. Tacking Point Tavern makes no representation or warranty that the program will continue to be available for any period of time.

Personal Information

• The personal information we collect about you will include your name and contact details and may also include information about the goods and services you buy from us, and how you interact with us.

• We collect personal information about you directly from you or by your use of your Locals Card, our website, from public sources.

• Our policy is to use your personal information to deliver our products and services to you, to improve our services, and to market products and services to you.

• We take commercially reasonable steps to secure your Personal Information from unauthorized access, and to ensure the people we share your data with do the same.

• By joining as a local member, you agree and acknowledge you will receive promotional material such as special offers or important messages from Tacking Point Tavern or other local Flower Hotels venues. Information may come from email and SMS. We will not share your personal information with any third party outside the Flower Hotels Group.

How to opt out

When you provide Tacking Point Tavern with personal information, you consent to the use of that information for marketing purposes. You can withdraw your consent and opt out at any time by contacting us. If you decide to opt out from receiving marketing communications from us, that will automatically cancel your Locals Card membership.

OPT-OUT POLICY We give users options wherever necessary and practical. Such choices include Opting not to register to receive our electronic newsletters. Opting not to participate in certain interactive areas, which completely alleviates the need to gather any personally identifiable information from our users.
